The Skints are “stoked” to play Standon

London-based reggae and dub upstarts The Skints says they are incredibly excited about playing Standon Calling this summer.

“We are stoked to play alongside such respected and awesome artists at this year’s Standon Calling!,” say the band. “Pictures of the site look beautiful, the line up is wicked and we know it’s gonna be MASSIVE vibes! Roll on August!”

The Skints describe their sounds as mixing “Jamaican styles with pop hooks, grimey raps, filthy basslines and a punk rock work ethic”.

Fresh from supporting You Me At Six on their UK tour, The Skints released their second album, Part & Parcel, earlier this month. They say it’s “a sun-drenched carnival of a record featuring a collection of tracks that will undoubtedly make you want to dance”. To find out more click here.
