Band of Skulls on Standon Calling

Standon Calling headliner Band of Skulls have graced the main stage at many major festivals, but believe there’s something special about more intimate events.

“We can’t wait to play Standon Calling,” say the band. “Playing the huge festivals is great but the smaller, more intimate ones like Standon where you can really connect with the audience are really special.”

And they should know what they’re talking about. Band of Skulls actually played Standon Calling back in 2006, under another guise when they were known as Fleeing New York. According to Last.Fm they described their sound then as Rockabilly/Crunk/Jam.

A limited amount of Tier 1 Weekend Tickets are now on sale for just £99, which is cheaper than pretty much any other three-day festival we can think of. To take advantage of this, click here.
