We strongly recommend that every Standon Calling 2021 attendee reads this page from top to bottom (perhaps make a cuppa first!).
You cannot start this process until TUESDAY 13TH JULY when the lead booker will receive an email with the subject line ‘Important: Standon Calling Pre-event Covid Certification Process’ from our payment partner Weezevent.
We are thrilled that we will be opening our gates on the 22nd July 2021. This robust Pre-event Covid Certification Process (PCCP) will ensure a festival that is as “close to normal” as possible. Importantly this process has helped gain the confidence of our local public health authorities to fully support Standon Calling going ahead and also helps mitigate against any potential change in Covid cases before the festival.
Whilst restrictions are expected to be lifted from the 19th July, we want everyone to come to Standon Calling festival feeling safe, relaxed and ready to enjoy being in the company of strangers again. We are taking extra precautions to ensure that the risk of Covid transmission is minimised by running a comprehensive Pre-event Covid Certification Process (PCCP).
For the last four months we have been working with Certific (a leading Covid testing verification app) and Imperial College London on a unique Video-Recorded Pre-event Covid Certification Process that gives our audience the highest level of on-site Covid safety.
For the reassurance of all, everyone will take a video-recorded lateral flow test in the Certific App at home before attending the event.
Through the unique video-recorded testing procedure, Certific will verify your identity, your test device, the accuracy of your sampling, and your test result.
Please note that a Covid vaccination does not exempt anyone from completing the testing procedure, even if you have had both doses. A valid test result and event pass in the Certific App is a prerequisite for gaining access to Standon Calling 2021.
You can then enjoy the festival safely in the knowledge that everyone has been through the same Pre-event Covid Certification Process.
You cannot start this process until TUESDAY 13TH JULY when the lead booker will receive an email with the subject line ‘Important: Standon Calling Pre-event Covid Certification Process’ from our payment partner Weezevent.
The cost for the Pre-event Covid Certification Process (PCCP) for each attendee aged 13+ is £4. The total cost to Standon Calling for the Certification process is £8 per attendee, Standon Calling will pay the additional £4.
Please note that this cost is not for the test itself. It is solely to cover the test Certification process. Lateral Flow Tests (LFT) are free through the NHS.
You must provide your own LFT test, these can be ordered for free HERE or collected from a local pharmacy. We strongly encourage you to secure your LFT as soon as possible, and order no later than 14th July to guarantee it arrives before the week of the festival.
Your consent will be required at the very start of the process to participate in PCCP. The lead booker (whose contact details we hold) will need to give this consent on behalf of all members of their party and provide the name, email address, phone number, DOB and postcode of all such members of the booking party so that we can contact them and administer the PCCP.
Weezevent (our online payment platform) will collect this data on our behalf and share the limited personal details with Certific in order for Certific to provide the Covid certification testing services which you have ordered. Every person who participates in the PCCP will be asked via the Certific App to give their explicit consent for Certific to process their health data. They will also be asked if they wish to give the following optional consents:
1. Consent to participate in a questionnaire carried out by Certific in order for Certific to design risk profiling of the festival to help us improve customer experience and implement appropriate health and safety measures at future editions of the festival.
2. Consent for their anonymised data to be part of a live event study run by Imperial College London.
3. Consent for their name and email address to be shared with Imperial College London to participate in a follow up interview after the festival in connection with the study.
We recommend familiarising yourself with the process, the FAQs on this page, our privacy policy and our partner’s privacy policies for a full understanding of how we and our partners process your data in connection with Pre-event Covid Certification Process.
We have carefully outlined the process and each step that needs to be taken along with the timeframe below.
Take note of these deadlines. Set reminders, write them in your calendar, tell your fellow Standon attendees. It’s really important that every Standon attendee completes each step before they arrive.
It is the responsibility of the lead booker to inform each member of their booking about the steps involved in the PCCP.

Depending on when you arrive at Standon Calling, there is a different testing window to complete your Lateral Flow Test.
Again, take note of your testing window as it’s crucial that your LFT is taken between 24 and 48 hours before arriving on site.

Everyone will require a negative test result verified through the Certific app to gain entry to Standon Calling. Once you have a verified negative test you will receive a QR code in the Certific app. Download this QR code, take a screenshot, add it to your apple wallet or print it out so that you can use it on the gate without needing to be online. Your health QR code within the Certific app will be valid for the duration of the event.
If you test positive, you can redo the test (as false positives can occur) at no additional cost. If your test is positive a second time you will not be able to attend Standon Calling 2021 but your ticket will automatically be rolled over to 2022.
Certific will inform us which tickets have been certified as approved to attend the festival and which have not so that we can process rollovers to 2022 for those which did not pass. We do not receive any health data or test results from Certific or any explanation of the reasons why a ticket holder may not have been certified as approved to attend the festival which could include reasons such as: test not being carried out, test being carried out incorrectly, no video recorded.
There will be an additional gate before the ticket gate in which you will need to present your QR code from the Certific app which proves your negative test result.
For anyone who doesn’t have this, there will be on-site testing facilities.
Everyone should follow the Pre-event Certification Process (PCCP) outlined on this page and test themselves before arriving at the event. On-site testing will cost £25 per person and is likely to take up to two hours to complete (if not longer) depending on queues.
Anyone planning to enter the festival through the Locals Gate or Campervan Gate will need to go to the Main Gate to be tested before they can enter the festival.

The entry process will then be the same as previous years, once you’re past the security search point, simply show your ticket at the ticket gate (Gate Two) and you’re in!
Once you’re inside, there will be no Covid restrictions in place although we recommend regular hand sanitisation. Please respect other people’s wishes to wear a mask if they wish.
We know this may look like a lot to take in but we promise it’s not as complicated as it looks. All of the information that you need to start and finish the Pre-event Covid Certification Process sits here on our website.

Please note that without a clear video recording of the test being done, you will not get an Event Pass from Certific and will need to test on-site for an additional cost.
Certific will delete all test videos and data after three months. You can always use your right to get your data deleted before that by sending a request to support@certific.co.
You will need to go home and isolate yourself in line with the latest government guidance.
Your tickets will automatically be rolled over to 2022.

We have a dedicated welfare tent, plus a new ‘Chill Hill’ area which is a space to relax. Other areas that offer some respite from the crowds include the Village Green, Wild Wellbeing and the Campsites.
We only collect the lead bookers contact details when tickets are purchased so it is the lead bookers responsibility to provide contact details for their party in order to complete the PCCP.
If you or any member of your party does not wish to participate in the PCCP then please contact us at covidcertification@standon-calling.com by Friday 16th July to rollover your ticket to Standon Calling 2022.
